Recessed luminaires combine T5 fluorescent lamps and LEDs

Lighting, T5, LED, Cooper Lighting & Security

Recessed luminaires from Cooper Lighting & Security use T5 fluorescent lamps for the main lighting and an integral LED with purpose-designed lens for emergency lighting. Lechenti luminaires are available in fully recessed or semi-recessed formats and suitable for lay-in or draw-up installations.

Opalised side panels made from TPa-rated polycarbonate provide controlled light distribution with excellent transmission and diffused lamp image. Together with the central prism or micro-prism panel option, this optical design achieves high efficacy and aids compliance with Part L and LG7 requirements.

Light-output ratio is over 80%, and efficiency is over 60 lm per circuit watt — making these light fittings eligible for Enhanced Capital Allowances. High-frequency control gear is standard, and these luminaires can be specified with DALI or DSI dimming facilities, as well as integrated lighting controls.

Emergency lighting covers an area 10 m square, reducing the number of emergency fittings required.
