Linear LED lighting modules can replace fluorescent lighting

Tridonic has developed compact linear LED modules that can be combined in lines to create strip lighting as an energy-efficient replacement or alternative to T5 or T8 fluorescent lighting. The Stark LLE modules measure 35 x 270 mm, and up to five can be operated with a single TALEXXconverter.
The inherent flexibility of the system, combined with terminals for fast wiring, makes these models easy to install in existing fittings. They are suitable for all optics — from louvres to diffuser types. Their versatility enables new design concepts to be created, including combinations with Stark QLE square LED modules.
LLE modules have a light output of 1250 lm for the 4000 K version, an efficiency of up to 97 lm/W and life of 50 000 h.
They are also available with a colour temperature of 3000 K. Colour-rendering index is greater than 80 and colour tolerance is MacAdam 4 SDCM.
These modules are compatible with DALI and DSI digital control interfaces and incorporate Tridonic’s switchDIM to enable dimming from a standard momentary action switch. The integral corridor function enables lighting output to be automatically controlled by presence detectors.
