Wieland connects at Hammersmith office

Wieland, Metalynx, structured wiring

Wieland Electric’s Metalynx2 structured wiring system has been used in the first of two new office developments in the centre of Hammersmith, London. 10 Hammersmith provides over 10 000 m2 of grade A office accommodation, along with two restaurants, roof terraces and a public-realm area.

Specified and installed by Imtech Engineering Services, the Metalynx2 system distributes all lighting and power. The building has eight floors of office space, mezzanine area and the public ground-floor section.

Project manager Bobby Vance, said, ‘We used the modular system for simple and quick installation. With a short installation time on site, the ability to provide a flexible solution during Cat A works made this modular product ideal for the project. Wieland also ensured that all goods were delivered to site on time and offered full on-site management and technical support.’

The system allows for future changes or reconfigurations.
